TRUMPET
If you are interested in honing your skills on the trumpet, cornet or flugelhorn, finding a new approach to a piece of music, or even if you have never picked up a brass instrument before, please get in touch for a lesson. My main focus in my teaching is to help my students to play as effortlessly as possible, so that they can realise their full musical potential without having to worry about technique problems relating to excess tension and overblowing that many trumpet players have had to overcome. I have several years teaching experience for Hertfordshire Music Service, and am familiar with both the ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall exam syllabuses. I am happy teaching all ages and I'm fully DBS checked.
ARRANGING/COMPOSING
Knowing how to arrange music or write your own is an important skill for any musician. There are almost endless possibilities for an arrangement or original composition and knowing how to write effective music that is also satisfying to play will save time and frustration.
